Willy Greer saw his first R-rated horror film (Friday the 13th) at the tender pink age of 8. He spent his subsequent school career getting into trouble for drawing pictures of Jason, Michael and Freddy in class.
In November of 2004, he created an outlet for both his brain-clogging glut of horror film history and trivia, as well as his ever-growing soundtrack collection, with Horror Holocaust Radio. A few months later, Jeff “Damien Karras” Dean joined the show, and the two have been inseparable ever since, often finishing each other’s sentences and painting each other’s toenails.
Willy is also a film composer, author of the book Shadow Play: Philosophy and Psychology of the Modern Horror Film, and screenwriter of the in development slasher film Second Skin. Most recently, he was fired from Starbucks for drawing pictures of Jason, Michael and Freddy on the job.
